The project was originally designed for a Rib and Block slab. Level Up offered the client an alternative solution to use a Precast Hollowcore slab. This helped reduce costs and time, allowing the builder immediate access to the first floor once installed. The project was based within an Estate which did not allow horse and trailer trucks to enter. This meant that the slabs had to be double handled and shuttled into the estate with a smaller truck. A large mobile crane was used to install the slabs over an existing double story building. Level Up supplied the client with 3d sketches to help the client visual design and layout. Additionally, Level Up assisted with design and the supply of steel support structure.
