This client had purchased a cobute decking system, which is similar to rib and block slabs – The difference being that the cobute precast slab is an interlocking system with three elements, namely: precast lattice ribs, precast panels and polystyrene blocks. The ribs, supplied with a concrete shutter, are heavier than rib and block slabs to lift and install. Due to knowledge of concrete decking and rib and block slabs, Level Up assisted with installation.

In this case, 250m² of slabs were installed including props and scaffolding. Additional shuttering and steel rods were supplied and installed. Additional steel had been laid at appropriate areas, and as per the pics, ready mix concrete and a concrete pump had been used to cast concrete.

An engineers inspection was included in the process. Altogether, the project was a beautiful success and took 4 weeks to complete.
